Fridge Facts Week 9

Room 14’s Fridge Facts
 Week 9, Term 1, 2014
Monday the 31st of March
Welcome to week 9.
Thank you all so much for your understanding with my absence last week. My son is back to his normal energetic self. Miss Ward has just loved teaching Room 14 and I know that the class has enjoyed having her as well.

On Monday the 7th of April I will be having surgery to correct a heart arrhythmia. This will mean a few days of recovery so we are very lucky to have Miss Ward to step in and save the day again. She will be teaching on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and Mrs Voller will be back teaching her usual Friday. I assure you that your child’s education is paramount and I will be working with Miss Ward to ensure continuity of the classroom programe while I am away.

Again I do appologise for the disruptions this term but I will be back to enjoy the last week with Room 14 before they all get a very well deserved holiday.  If you have any questions or concerns about this please do not hesitate to come and see me.

Parent Interviews: If we have not yet met for an interview please come and choose a time and a day that suits you. I will have a timetable on the blue bean shaped table in Room 14 where you can write your name next to an available time slot. Interview days for Room 14 are slightly different to the rest of the school due to my surgery. The days are Wednesday  2nd and Thursday the 3rd of April week 9 and Thursday the 10th of April Week 10.

Our week ahead:

  • Please remember to return your permission slips for our beach visit in week 11

  • On Thursday Miss Ward will be teaching as the Junior School teachers are having a planning day to organise yet another action packed exciting time for term 2.

  • Mrs Voller is back for Friday- I know she has missed the lovely children of Room 14 very much!

We each made our own Rainbow Fish and created two beautiful scales. One that we would keep for ourselves and one that we would share with a friend.
